<image:title>Support - Supporting Puahi’s</image:title>
<image:caption>Aloha and mahalo for supporting Puahi’s. Puahi’s Polynesian Dance Co. teaches Hawaiian and Tahitian culture through dance, language, and history, giving students a deep, respectful grounding in both tradition and practice. Dancers carefully translate mele and research the songs so their performance truly reflects the cultural meanings and storytelling of the traditions. Our dancers have won many Tahitian competition awards, including 1st place in the ‘Otea. At the 2019 E Hula Mau in Long Beach, we placed 1st in Kahiko Kaikamahine, 2nd in Kaikamahine ‘Auana, 2nd in Hula Kahiko & ‘Auana overall, and 1st in ‘Olelo (language), demonstrating our commitment to excellence in both dance and cultural knowledge. Competition costs—costumes, fresh adornments, travel, training, and hotels—are substantial. As a not-for-profit organization, we depend on the generosity of our community and donors. Puahi’s Polynesian Dance Company invites you to join a meaningful tradition of cultural preservation and community enrichment through your donation. Why your support matters Preserve cultural heritage: Your gift helps fund classes, workshops, and performances that keep Polynesian dance, music, and language alive for future generations. Expand access: Donations provide scholarships and tuition assistance so youth and families from varied backgrounds can participate regardless of financial means. Strengthen community: Programs bring people together, build confidence, and promote physical and mental well-being. Sustain artistic excellence: Contributions fund choreography, costumes, instruments, training, and production costs to maintain high-quality performances and educational materials. How donations are used Education and scholarships: Subsidize instruction, materials, and outreach programs in schools and community centers. Performance and production: Underwrite costumes, sets, travel, venue rental, and technical needs for concerts and cultural events. Community programs: Support free or low-cost workshops, intergenerational programs, and cultural festivals. Organizational sustainability: Cover administrative costs that keep the company operational and accountable. Ways to give One-time gift: Make an immediate impact with a single donation. Recurring gift: Provide steady, reliable support with monthly or annual contributions. Sponsorship: Partner with specific events, productions, or outreach programs and receive recognition proportional to your support. In-kind donations: Contribute items or services such as costumes, fabrics, instruments, venue access, or professional services. Accountability and recognition Recognition options: We honor donors through program listings, event acknowledgments, and tailored partnership benefits. Join us Your donation directly supports the continuation and growth of Polynesian cultural arts within our community. Every contribution—large or small—helps sustain teaching, performance, and outreach that empower participants and enrich audiences. To give, please click on the link “Mahalo For Your Support”. Thank you for supporting Puahi’s mission to preserve and share Polynesian culture through dance, music, and education. Mahalo.</image:caption>
